Daniel Ash – Director and President, CEO, COO

Dan brings 20 years wireless industry experience including extensive leadership and management in new product development, manufacturing & test engineering, off-shore manufacturing, and global operations.

During the course of his career, Dan has successfully transferred more than 100 electronic products from engineering stage to high volume commercial manufacturing off shore. Previously, he served for eight years as senior executive at Powerwave Technologies, an $800 million RF amplifier & antenna manufacturer, including Senior Director of Contract Mfg. & Operations, Senior Director of New Product Introduction, Director of Supplier Quality and Director of Supply Chain Commodity Management.

During his tenure, Dan was instrumental in the company’s growth from $200 million to more than $800 million in revenue. He patented a revolutionary PCB/pallet lamination process providing Powerwave a major competitive advantage and used in more than one million amplifiers. Prior, Dan served for eight years with Hewlett Packard in several engineering management positions. There, he was responsible for transferring RF cell phone amplifier modules to high volume production in Malaysia, ramping production to more than one million amplifiers per month.

Earlier, Dan began his career in defense electronics with companies including Teledyne, Avantek and Narda (now L-3), and is a widely recognized expert in millimeter wave electronics.


Tareq Risheq – Director and Chief Strategy Officer

Tareq brings more than 20 years experience in the IT industry as a sales and marketing executive and accomplished entrepreneur.

Previously, Tareq founded Simpliciti and developed a home/family multi-user Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) consumer device from concept, to manufacturing, to national distribution in CompUSA and other major retailers.  Simpliciti received positive reviews in The Wall Street Journal by Walt Mossberg as well as in Time, Newsweek, CNN News, Fox News and others.

Prior, he established a direct sales organization in Saudi Arabia and grew the firm from zero to about $30 million in revenue in three years.

Earlier, Tareq helped Qualcomm’s infrastructure unit develop a Wireless Local Loop network in Egypt and other countries in North Africa, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. He has consulted for and represented Emerson, Hughes Networks, Vivitar, Toshiba, LG and others -- receiving numerous awards for outstanding achievement in distribution and sales.


Tony Demarco – Chief Technology Officer

Tony brings more than 20 years as a wireless industry executive and engineering manager – having begun his wireless career at the birth of the cellular industry in 1984.

Previously, Tony served for nine years at Powerwave Technologies where his responsibilities included VP of Product Marketing and VP of Business Development. There, he perfected an operating model to support wireless operators with amplifier needs, enabling Powerwave to command more than 90 percent market share of the $1B+ wireless amp market. 

Prior, Tony served as Senior Corporate Technical Manager, BellSouth Cellular where he directed capital funding review/approval, network design reviews and vendor management. 

Earlier, he worked for ten years at U.S. West NewVector Group (now Verizon), holding several managerial positions in operations and engineering -- building, optimizing, and designing wireless networks. 

Tony began career at the birth of the cellular industry in 1984, as a manager for ComNet Cellular, where he introduced/validated third party multi-carrier power amplifiers in the base station, and utilization of third party dual duplex tower mounted amplifiers.

He is credited with several base station architecture technology inventions at both BellSouth and Powerwave, with patents awarded and applied.


Kevin F. Pickard – Chief Financial Officer

Kevin brings more than 20 years experience as a certified public accountant providing publicly traded companies with auditing and financial management expertise ranging from accounting and SEC reporting to mergers and acquisitions and initial public offerings.

Kevin has served since 1998 as a principal officer and owner of Pickard & Green CPAs (formerly Pickard & Company, CPAs), an accounting firm he founded that specializes in providing SEC accounting and other financial management consulting services for small to medium sized companies. These services include preparing public company SEC filings, due diligence on potential acquisitions, financial projection and business plan preparation, company restructuring as well as positioning companies for initial public offerings.

Previously, Kevin was a Partner with Singer Lewak Greenbaum & Goldstein, where he co managed the firm’s securities practice group.

Earlier, he spent over nine years with Coopers & Lybrand (currently PricewaterhouseCoopers), where he focused on auditing companies in the high tech and manufacturing industries.

Kevin holds both a Bachelors of Science and a Masters degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University.


Rich Silvers – Senior Director, Engineering

Rich brings over 25 years of experience as a Radio Frequency (RF) Design Engineer developing RF and Microwave amplifier products.

Most recently, he worked for Powerwave Technologies as Director of Engineering overseeing Northern and Southern California, two of the company’s largest and technologically driven geographic markets.   Both groups were instrumental in supporting customers such as Nokia, Nortel, Alcatel, Lucent and Samsung. His experience includes TDMA, GSM, Edge, CDMA 2000, W-CDMA and WiMAX systems.

Previously, Rich worked for Avantek and Hewlett-Packard in a variety of senior engineering design management positions for these technology leaders. His design experience includes development of high efficiency linear feed-forward multi-channel cellular power amplifiers for base station applications, linear amplifiers for digital pre-distortion systems and active/passive components for hand held wireless devices. Rich received his B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of California, Davis.


Robert Legendre – Chairman and Senior Advisor - Corporate Development

Bob brings 25 years of international technology operations experience including 15 years in senior executive roles including supply chain, operations, captive & contracted offshore manufacturing, NPI operations, research, and engineering development.

Most recently, he served as VP – Operations at SolFocus, a Silicon Valley startup in solar energy that raised $32 million in its series “A” round during his tenure.
 
Previously, Bob was Senior Vice President of Global Operations for Powerwave Technologies, a Nasdaq-listed $800 million RF amplifier & antenna manufacturer whose market cap ranged up to $2 billion.

Earlier, he was VP of operations and materials management with companies including InFocus Corporation, Pemstar Corporation (acquired by Benchmark) and Western Digital where he managed operations globally.

Prior, Bob served as Director of Supply Chain Management for Emulex, a global leader in advanced storage networking infrastructure solutions.


John Shaw – Corporate Communications Director

John Shaw brings more than 20 years experience as a corporate communications professional directing investor, public and media relations for companies ranging from venture-stage to publicly traded mid cap companies.

He has owned a corporate communications consultancy since 2001 working with a number of private and publicly held technology companies.  In the ten years prior, John held VP – CorpComm officer roles at publicly traded companies such as Loudeye Technologies (Nasdaq), as well as privately owned venture capital firms (and their portfolio companies) including Digital Media Campus.

Previously, he consulted to a variety of emerging-growth companies, serving for five years with two of the world’s most respected financial public relations firms, the Financial Relations Board (now part of IPG) and Sitrick and Company.

Prior to becoming a management consultant, John was a stockbroker with E.F. Hutton, an award-winning journalist at a Gannett newspaper, on-air reporter/anchor for a CBS Television News affiliate, and reporter for The San Diego Business Journal.

Earlier, he served as a Captain and Communications Officer in the United States Marine Corps, and received his M.A. in Management from Webster University, St. Louis.


Norman W. Collins, Sr. – Director

Norman brings over 30 years experience as an attorney, and corporate executive, to include corporate governance. Presently he is President of Collins & Associates, a Delaware corporation providing consulting services to corporations as well as legal services in the form of mediation and arbitration of corporate disputes.

Prior positions include director and CEO of several developmental or emerging growth companies.

Norman is admitted to the Tennessee Bar and serves as an Arbitrator for the National Arbitration Forum. He is also a Certified Mediator in Georgia, North Carolina and the District of Columbia. He holds a B. S. in Business Administration from Trine University and a J.D. from Michigan State University, College of Law.
